If you’ve been tracking the laptop scene in India, you already know—Asus Vivobook and ZenBook series have pretty much become household names. Why? Because they get the one thing that matters most: nailing that sweet spot between lightweight portability and solid performance.
Now, Asus is turning up the heat again.
The Taiwanese brand just opened pre-orders for its latest premium ZenBook lineup in India, and this time, it’s all about design, AI-powered muscle, and serious portability. Think Zenbook S14, Zenbook DUO, Zenbook A14, the upcoming Zenbook A16, plus a fresh set of Vivobook models.
Pricing? The ZenBook series kicks off at ₹1,79,990, while the Vivobook lineup starts at ₹98,990.
Here’s what actually matters—broken down simply.
What’s new in the ZenBook & Vivobook series?

Asus is leaning hard into what it calls “Design You Can Feel.” And honestly? You notice it right away.
One standout is Ceraluminum—a proprietary material that’s both tough and ridiculously premium to the touch. Lightweight, durable, and sleek.
Take the flagship Zenbook S14:
- Ultra-slim profile: ~1.1cm
- Weight: ~1.2kg
- 14-inch 3K OLED display
- Claimed battery life: up to 27 hours
- Under the hood: Intel Ultra Series 3 processors, topping out with Ultra 9
Then there’s the Zenbook DUO (a personal favorite for anyone who loves dual screens). It now packs two 14-inch 3K 144Hz ASUS Lumina Pro OLED touch displays—yes, two. Powered by Intel Core Ultra 7-series, with a claimed 32 hours of battery life. For multitaskers? This is dangerously good.
For those who want something more casual but still premium: the Zenbook A Series (A14 & A16). Same Ceraluminum build, but under 1 kg. That’s crazy light. They run on Snapdragon X2 series processors, which should deliver excellent battery life—though we’ll hold final judgment until we’ve tested them. Stay tuned for that full review.
What about the VivoBooks?
The next-gen Vivobook classic series runs on updated Intel Core Ultra 5 Series 3 processors, delivering 47 TOPS of NPU performance—meaning on-device AI tasks feel snappy without breaking a sweat.
Meanwhile, the Vivobook S14 and S16 step up with sleeker metallic designs, Ultra 7 Series processors, and up to 49 TOPS of NPU power. Battery life is rated at 29 hours, so you’re looking at all-day usage without hunting for a plug.
